Dr. Lewis is a native of Hope Mills, NC. She graduated from Southview High School (’89). She did her undergraduate studies at Pembroke State University (now UNCP) where she double majored in Biology and Chemistry and graduated Magna Cum Laude. (’94) She completed her Medical Education and OB/GYN Residency at East Carolina University. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has practiced medicine in Fayetteville since 2003.
She is the proud mother of two wonderful young adults who attended Village Christian Academy.
Dr. Lewis practices General OB/GYN and offers services in Women’s Health Maintenance, General Gynecology, Obstetrics, Menopausal Medicine, Basic infertility evaluation, Adolescent gynecology, Health, Wellness and Fitness counseling for women of all ages.
She is an avid exerciser and enjoys an active lifestyle. She served for many years as part of the backstage crew and decorating contributor for the Heart of Christmas Show while her daughter was performing in the cast.
In short, Dr. Lewis enjoys having long term relationships with her patients and helping them navigate their healthcare from puberty, through childbearing, to menopause and beyond She enjoys spending her days catching up with the women she has come to consider her friends She is honored to serve her hometown community and to have the opportunity to be an integral part of the most joyous days in a woman’s life….the day a woman has her babies and the day she has her hysterectomy!
