Dr. Kaltenecker is originally from Columbus, Ohio. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from Chapman University in Orange, California. Before medical school, he worked with the National Institutes of Health to build a Biospecimen Repository for the Cancer Genome Atlas. He went on to earn a Master of Science in Global Health from the University of Notre Dame, where he focused on primary prevention of cervical cancer in the developing world—research that took him to Honduras in collaboration with the World Health Organization.

Dr. Kaltenecker earned his medical degree from Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his OB/GYN residency at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

He enjoys caring for women throughout all stages of life and is passionate about women’s health on both a local and global level. Outside of work, Dr. Kaltenecker enjoys spending time with his wife and three children exploring North Carolina. He is a huge fan of Notre Dame football, an avid CrossFit enthusiast, and a sports history buff. He is excited to continue serving the Fayetteville community as part of the Women’s Wellness team.
