Dr. Kaltenecker originally hails from Columbus, Ohio. After growing up in the Midwest, he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from Chapman University in Orange, California. After college, he worked in conjunction with the National Institute of Health in building a Biospecimen Repository for the Cancer Genome Atlas. At the conclusion of that project, Dr. Kaltenecker received his Master’s of Science in Global Health from the University of Notre Dame. During his time in South Bend, he studied and researched primary prevention of cervical cancer in the developing world. His studies took him to Honduras to work with the World Health Organization. Following graduation, he obtained his degree in medicine from Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Kaltenecker completed his residency at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He is board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children exploring the diverse geography of North Carolina. He is a giant fan of Notre Dame football. He also enjoys staying active by participating in Crossfit and other physical activities. Dr. Kaltenecker is an avid reader and enjoys books about sports history. He is enthusiastic about continuing to work in Fayetteville at Women’s Wellness.
